The reflection she sees in the looking glass in Whitty’s world mirrors the life she once faced at home. While navigating Whitty’s world, Whitney discovers the James in her own world is the same lying, cheating, corrupt man as the one in Whitty’s. The difference being, James carries out his horrific threats of violence on Whitty and pays with his life. Unfortunately, Jason, nicknamed JJ, is the man who saves Whitty, and in doing so, pays a heavy price. During JJ’s incarceration, Whitty and JJ exchange letters and grow closer. After the bounce, JJ learns he’s been granted an early parole and writes Whitty a letter asking her to visit him in prison. After reading all their letters, Whitney wonders if Whitty is ready for another complicated relationship. Missing her own Jason, she worries it might cloud her judgement, make the wrong choice for Whitty, and regret it. So, a conflicted Whitney faces a dilemma: should she risk a visit or say no?
Whitney bounces back from Whitty’s repressive world only to discover the women in her own world are currently experiencing their own kind of oppression.

Whitney lifted Whitty’s painting with the four women and read, “Whitty’s Dream.” She placed it on the easel, searched through Whitty’s memories, and thought, Whitty wishes women had the rights and opportunities to do these things in her world. Whitney drew in a deep breath and snarked. “In mine… we just have to keep them. Unfortunately, our dreams can easily be removed by nefarious leaders in power. All the bast***s have to do is change a law or limit the opportunities for women and it all goes away. Looks like while I was gone, the bast***s already stripped the right to choose our reproductive health in a few states.”
Whitney lifted the other painting. “Protests. One generation fights and wins women’s rights, while another becomes complacent and elects’ leaders that take it away.” Whitney reached over and traced Whitty’s Dream with her finger. “Whitty, we all have to fight and stay vigilant to keep your dream alive. No matter the world you live in. Someday, the women in your world will fight and get those rights. But nothing’s guaranteed. We’re finding that out now.” Whitney eyed the protestor in Whitty’s painting. “Even today we fight to get back what others have taken away.” Whitney roared, “Hell, hath no fury like a woman scorned. We must speak out and take back what’s been taken away.” She touched one of the protestor’s signs in Whitty’s painting and said, “Like her. Rise up ….

“Now you understand,” he said. “Indescribable, isn’t it?”
“Yes,” she said. “There are no words.”
The two remained silent for several minutes as they floated and gazed at the sights surrounding them. Sawyer smiled at her innocence and excitement and thought about the first time he navigated the vastness of space and the sheer realization that he was just an irrelevant speck among a sea of stars. Then, after giving Whitney a moment to absorb it all, he squeezed her hand and said, “There really are no words.”
She turned towards him and cooed, “Thank you, Sawyer. I’ll never forget this.”

Knowing it was now or never, Whitney stood and headed to the entrance, located fifty yards away. She fought to move forward against the unforgiving wind as small pellets pelted her suit. The red alarm flashed, warning her she had moments of air left in her tank. Her eyes focused on the entrance twenty yards away. Her body lunged forward and her arms stretched out to hit the emergency button. Her lungs struggled to capture every particle of air circulating inside her helmet. Suddenly, darkness surrounded her as the light from her eyes dimmed and her body hit the ground.
